Dream

Our dream is ultimately to see the reformation of Germany. We long to see Germany strong in the grace of Christ and a righteous leader in Europe and the world.

Our  passion is to see a church planting movement birthed in Germany, led by Germans, which plants breakthrough churches throughout Germany. We dream of flourishing churches planted in all the major cities of Germany such as Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bonn, Hanover Leipzig, Bremen, Essen, Düsseldorf, and Heidelberg.

We also hope to send church planting teams to plant churches in the capital cities of Europe such as Vienna, Berne, Prague, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Brussels, Rome and Moscow.

We also dream of sending Euros to fund church planting in Africa.

Vision

We see many young Germans with hearts aflame to make Jesus famous in all the earth. We see tender hearts and eyes on fire; passionate people who love extravagantly, live victoriously and impact the world for Christ.

We see a Christ-centred, Bible-based, Spirit empowered, purpose-driven, people-loving, disciple-making, missions-focused church making a real difference. We see God shaking the nation, breaking religion and tradition. We see powerful preaching where the Word is on fire and the pulpit again becomes the rudder of the nation.

We see a church that touches the heart of God with our passionate worship. We see demonstrative, extravagant, heart-felt worship that is filled with the Presence and fragrance of God. We see God touching people and changing their lives. We see singing in the Spirit. We hear a new song, a new sound. Fresh winds of German worship. We see German worship offered as a draft of water to a thirsty Christ.

We see Germans fervent in prayer. We see tears of intercession and cries for the lost and broken. We see young people saturating the atmosphere in prayer. We see people connecting deeply to God, receiving His love and enjoying being Abba’s delight.

We see whole and happy families. We see young people joyously living in purity and then festively getting married. We see broken marriages being restored. We see rebellious teenagers being reconciled to God and their families. We see excited children alive with love for Jesus. We see men who are strong and masculine and women who are beautiful and feminine. We see women who gladly devote themselves to being mothers and fathers who are faithful and committed to their families. We see secure, free, fearless women who step into their destiny with conviction and confidence. We see men who are bold, courageous and daring. Men who lead with might, in humility and purity of heart.

We see a church marked by authentic, loving relationships, which people call “home” and “family”. We see homes that become ministry centres with generous hospitality. We see Treffpunkte that gather the lost in a loving embrace. We see them laughing together, crying together, sharing dreams and fears together, drinking in the Word together and ministering grace to each other.

We see us winning over hearts, and walls of resistance crumbling, as authentic friendships develop. We see young people surrendering their lives to Jesus. We see people boldly sharing their faith with their friends and neighbours. We see people overcoming rejection and persecution with persistent love. We see meaning coming into empty lives. We see loneliness replaced with belonging. We see hurts being healed; broken lives bound up; grief turning into joy. We see individuals joining loving community.  We see a never ending stream of glorious water baptisms marked with celebration, gratitude and awe.

We see truly changed lives transformed by the power of God. We see people free and whole. We see people truly alive for the first time. Delivered from addictions, dysfunctions, and prejudices. We see wave after wave of testimonies. We see tears of joy and shouts of deliverance. We see once sunken faces shining with joy. We see people serving the church and the city using their God-given creativity, innovation and resourcefulness.

We see the strength of German leaders released. We see lion-like hearts and eagle vision. Sharp, tough, loyal and organised men and women who step with confidence into the upward call of God. We see church planters, reformers, apostles and prophets. We see statesmen, business leaders and cultural pace-setters. We see leaders who carry a spirit of might who are pioneers and princes of breakthrough.

We see a grassroots church planting movement spreading like wildfire across Germany and into Europe and the nations of the world. Yes, a wave of church planting that engulfs Germany in a mighty flood. We see church-planting churches planted in every major city of Germany. We see campuses aflame with Kingdom revolutionaries.

We see shame being replaced with honour, depression with joy, indifference with compassion. We see Jesus being made famous in society and honoured in the corridors of power. We see Germany taking its place as a leader in Europe and being a voice of righteousness. We see the German church prospering financially and financing church planting in Africa. We see Germany being an ambassador of reconciliation – bringing healing where historically they had brought devastation. We see Germans and Jews walking together in reconciled friendships of trust and love.

We see revival coming to Germany and washing sin and guilt away as God’s Presence becomes a tangible reality and miracles become commonplace. We see the sick healed, the demonised delivered, the lost found, and the captive free. We see secularism, paganism and occultism receding before the power of God. We see God’s fury released to destroy the works of darkness. We see the gifts of the Spirit flowing. We see tears, smiles, shouting and dancing.

We see a church that overcomes the gates of Hell. A church that crushes the kingdom of darkness. A church that plunders Hell and populates Heaven. A church that wields the sword of the Spirit advancing the Kingdom of God with a warrior spirit. We see Abba Father smiling upon us, saying: “Well done my son! I am pleased with you my daughter!”

Strategy

Our strategy is to plant a disciple-making, church-planting church that launches a church planting movement in Germany and beyond, focussing on campuses in major German cities.

As a church we welcome all people and desire to be a multigenerational church but our particular focus is young Germans.

Young – the demographic most absent from the church are young people. We believe that God loves young people and desires us to reach them. We therefore unashamedly desire to attract teenagers, singles and young families to the church.

German – Our focus is on being a German church and not an international church and we will work intentionally towards using German as the primary language and releasing Germans into leadership.

discipleship wheel

We have a discipleship wheel which we encourage everyone to experience:

  1. Encounter – experience God and develop a relationship with Him
  2. Connect – do everything as a loving community of friends
  3. Reconcile – introduce Jesus to your friends and family
  4. Transform – be changed from the inside out into a better person
  5. Serve – make the world a better place for everyone
  6. Multiply – start new churches to bring God closer to where people live
